Sandra E. Glick – President
Sandra is in charge of day-to-day operations, with an emphasis on project management and new and existing business development. After three years in public accountancy, she has nurtured CriticalEdge Group for the past 21 years. In addition to her management responsibilities, Sandra still enjoys direct, working contact with customers. Sandra’s education includes graduate studies in accounting at the University of Hartford. She earned her Bachelors and Masters Degrees at Providence College. Sandra holds a membership in the Hamden Quilter’s Group.

Stuart A. Gamm – Senior Consultant Stuart has been working at CriticalEdge Group for over 10 years as a Consultant and Company Accountant. Stuart’s expertise is on Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) integrations, reporting, and implementation, and Microsoft Excel. Prior to CriticalEdge Group, Stuart worked for 3 years as a Corporate Accountant for a local manufacturing company with 4 disparate operations. Stuart also held a Controller position for 14 years at a US division of a publicly held UK company. Stuart now enjoys applying his creative skills to find solutions for clients. Stuart holds a BS in Accounting from Duke University. He is also a former member of AICPA (American Inst. of Certified Public Accountants) and CSCPA (CT Society of Certified Public Accountants). Stuart is active in the Town of Hamden Youth Sports.

Ankur Patel – Technical Specialist
Ankur has been with CriticalEdge Group for 4 years. As a Technical Specialist, Ankur implements and administrates SQL server, as well as an array of third party products for our customers. He has received high marks on the Microsoft SQL Server Exam, through which he acquired his MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional) Certification. Ankur also has recently been certified for Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS). Ankur was previously a Systems Analyst working with phone systems in a telecommunications company. Ankur received his Bachelor of Commerce with a concentration in Computer Information Systems from the University of Western Sydney, Australia.

Claudie Smith – Software Developer
Having been with CriticalEdge Group for over 10 years, Claudie has developed a style of writing software that ensures a vigorous dialog between the software consumer and the software developer. Along with custom developing software to meet the specific needs of customers, Claudie has also propelled CriticalEdge Group down a new road of providing off-the-shelf software. Largely developed by Claudie, our first product is a Bid (Request for Quote) Tracking System. Prior to CriticalEdge Group, Claudie worked as a System Analyst/Team Leader for DeGeorge Home Alliance. In addition, Claudie has a history of proven leadership from managing A Plus Computers as President and owning his own company, Information Technologies. Claudie is a Microsoft Business Solutions CRM Certified Professional and Great Plains Dexterity Certified Developer. Along with a BA from Alma College and graduate studies at Columbia University, Claudie has received extensive technology and development training from New Technology Solutions and MetaCorp Strategies International.

Lori Gorton - Consultant

Lori is one of the newest members of the team but is certainly not new to Microsoft Dynamics GP and consulting.  Lori joined the CriticalEdge Group Team and immediately became an asset by working on a customer implementation right out of the starting gates.  She has over 15 years of consulting experience and has worked with earlier versions of Microsoft Dynamics GP (formerly Great Plains).  Prior to joining the CriticalEdge Group Team Lori has held various Controller positions and spent many years as a computer/accounting system consultant.  Lori holds a BS degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA with a concentration in Finance from the University of Chicago. When she’s not helping out our customers, she is helping animal rescue organizations as well as enjoying time with her family and pets, running, and reading.

Barbara Roman – Project Management Coordinator/Executive Admin.
Working as the Executive Administrator for 16 years at CriticalEdge Group, Barbara interacts with customers on a daily basis. Whether it is making sure that technical support questions are answered, or completing accounting work on her two 19” monitors, she is always giving her full attention to making sure customers’ needs are met. Barbara has previously worked as an Administrative Assistant at Ascom Hasler Mailing Systems. Previous to this, Barbara was employed by Four-Phase Systems (later to become Motorola) as an Administrative Assistant to the District Office. Barbara enjoys traveling, spending time with her two soon-to-be-college-graduate daughters, and learning how to play golf from her very patient husband. Barbara is a graduate of Stone School of Business.

Daniel Marzo – Marketing Specialist

Starting as our marketing intern, Daniel has been on the CriticalEdge team for 2 years. Recently promoted to Marketing Specialist, Daniel works on a variety of marketing tasks; including the production of our company newsletters, e-mail blasts, collateral, and researching ways for us to better reach potential customers and nurturing our existing customers. He graduated cum laude with a BS degree in Marketing and a minor in Psychology from Quinnipiac University. Daniel previously worked at XSE Group as an accounting assistant. There he learned basic functions of accounting and how a mid-size company operates. In his spare time Daniel likes to go biking, hiking, and snowboarding. He also continues to grow his knowledge in multiple areas including motorcycling, traveling, technology, and of course marketing.
